Carrying out over 200 research projects every year means we draw on a network of people to support us, for short-term or project-specific roles. Here are other ways you could be part of what we do.
We regularly recruit Business Administration Level 3 apprentices, a programme aimed at young people who want to achieve a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable work experience.
You will have an allocated assessor to support you with your Diploma qualification and guide you through the evidence you need to complete your personal work portfolio and 20 percent of your work time will be allocated to focus on your coursework.
It’s a full time role, typically over a 13 month period. You’ll be based in our Slough office and will be entitled to all standard staff benefits during your contract with us.
Our apprenticeship opportunities are advertised on our current vacancies page; you can stay in the know by signing up to job alerts.
At NFER we work with a pool of over 200 skilled Associates, who complement and enhance our core teams.
We are always on the lookout for good people to work with, and welcome approaches from innovative and driven individuals, working in a freelance capacity. We are interested to hear from:
We have opportunities for Markers and Test Administrators to work with us on a temporary basis and on a variety of projects from National Reference Tests in mathematics, English reading and English writing, to ad-hoc projects relating to our research work.
Typically, you’ll need to have experience of teaching and be available for the whole of the marking or testing period. You’ll be provided with full training and will attend one of our events, which usually take place at a central venue or remotely (i.e. from home).
If you’re interested in these opportunities, sign up for job alerts and we’ll let you know when we are recruiting.
