Salary: £31,000–£35,000 per annum (non-negotiable)
Annual Leave: 30 days plus 4 paid closure days
Pension Contributions: 10% employer contributions

Flexible Working: Hybrid setup with some attendance at our Slough office required, full-time (35 hours)
JOB DESCIPTION
As a Digital Content Executive, you’ll play a vital role in promoting NFER’s research, products and services on all of its online channels. This role supports day-to-day management of the Foundation’s social media channels across the main NFER brand and the NFER Classroom and NFER International sub-brands, as well as the Foundation’s website. As part of a small, flexible team, you’ll focus on ensuring NFER’s digital content is delivered in the right place and in the right format to reach and connect with its intended audience.
Key responsibilities:
- Create organic, multimedia social media content across all NFER main brand and sub-brand channels
- Write copy in an engaging manner appropriate to its channel to draw in new audiences, without compromising the accuracy of our evidence and the independence/reputation of the charity as a whole
- Proactively make suggestions on creating different types of content to support social media and other digital communications and marketing activity
- Create and edit short videos for internal and external audiences
- Deliver and maintain an engaging set of NFER visual templates for all brands/sub-brands across website and social media templates in line with overall brand guidelines.
- Develop web pages to promote various outputs, products and/or pieces of research
- Analyse performance across all digital channels and use this data to suggest enhancements to NFER’s digital and communications strategies.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven track record of social media marketing and/or managing accounts on behalf of organisations
- Demonstrated ability/experience in use of systems such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop and GA4
- Have a basic understanding of SEO and online user journeys/habits
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt content to suit the needs of a particular audience and/or channel
- Proficient in using technology, staying updated with emerging technologies, understanding their functions, and navigating digital platforms. Able to troubleshoot basic issues and effectively incorporate technology into tasks to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Comfortable working with data analysis, reporting and managing datasets, with a strong commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance.
