We do this by creating and sharing research evidence and insights on education policy and practice, informing policymakers and other key decision makers, and supporting the strengthening of practice in the classroom.
Our product portfolio has a critical role to play in our strategy of supporting teachers and seeking to have a positive impact on learners and this role will lead our sales, marketing and product development activity for our successful, and growing, product portfolio. Any surplus generated from our product portfolio is fed directly back into our research and development activity and meeting our charitable purpose.
The main purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and ensure delivery of, an effective sales and marketing strategy designed to achieve the agreed revenue and lifecycle management ambitions for NFER’s product portfolio. The role also takes the lead on progressing the product development strategy for both the UK and International Markets including preparing, as required, for any product launches.
What you'll need:
• Demonstrable track record in product marketing, ideally within the education sector
• Proficient at managing all stages of product (and customer) lifecycle
• Experience in developing product concepts and proposals
• Excellent marketing communication skills across a range of channels
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Creative and innovative
• Gravitas, and strong communication skills. The ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills. In particular, able to influence and build relationships.
