Senior International Project and Delivery Manager
Slough/Hybrid
Are you a project manager with experience of managing international contracts and suppliers wanting to lead a challenging and fast-paced portfolio of projects that will help children and young people get the best education possible? If so, read on.
The opportunities and quality of life available to children and young people worldwide arise directly from the education they receive. And yet, in much of the world, many children are not accessing quality education.
We are committed to helping those formulating education policies and programmes to make better decisions and deliver equitable and inclusive access to quality education for all children. We do this by working with partners and the global education community to generate data and evidence and to provide analysis and insights that directly inform education improvement.
In 2021 we embarked on a new strategy to increase the reach of NFER’s expertise and impact on education, positioning NFER as the partner of choice with decision makers internationally. Key to this strategy is an initial focus on teaching and learning in Sub-Saharan Africa.
About the Role
As the International Project and Delivery Manager, you’ll manage operations for a range of projects in relation to data collections, random control trials, assessment projects and surveys. A key part of your work will be to manage work done overseas, i.e., in East Africa and other places, usually using ‘on the ground’ suppliers. You’ll develop relationships with overseas survey service providers setting up data processing and quality control procedures, protocols and ensuring projects meet the contractual requirements.

At NFER, our mission is to improve outcomes for future generations everywhere and to support positive change across education systems worldwide.
